The berries are deeply blushed, golden champagne and distinctively cone shape. Plants are very productive and give two harvests in one season with fruit produced the first fall and a second crop produced on the same canes the following summer. The excellent flavor, unusual color and pleasing conical shape make Double Gold an excellent choice to have. They are considered as having an excellent, sweet flavor. The plant grows vigorously, suckers freely, and shows tolerance to diseases.
