Description A vigorous, cold-hardy English walnut cultivar prized for its thin shell, buttery flavor, and high kernel recovery. It’s well suited to climates where nuts ripen in mild autumns. Cascade trees produce abundantly—often early—and perform best in deep, well-drained soils and full sun. Though partially self-fertile, yields improve with another walnut nearby as a pollinizer. Mature trees can reach 35–40 ft tall with a 20 ft spread.
